 Marine Resource Education Program

By Fishermen, For Fishermen

We empower fishermen to have
a voice in the fisheries they depend on.

The program is offered as a single workshop or a 2-part workshop series...

Regardless, the program covers fisheries science and management.

Workshops are collaboratively designed by a team of regional leaders. Fishermen moderate the workshops to assist the fisheries scientists and managers in articulating issues and complex concepts in an approachable way, keeping the discussion real.

Workshops are free for accepted participants.

We pay for your travel to and from the workshops,
and your hotel room and food for the duration of the workshop.*

*Federal employees are not eligible for reimbursement.
For more information, see FAQs.
